Presently working at a leading Company engaged in producing Razors Blades & Disposable Plastic Razor handles & almost different varieties of products. The company is well Equipped state of art hydraulic Injection molding Machines.



Designation : Product Development Engineer (Polymers/ Plastic)

Period : Joined November 2004 ? June 2006 (Approx 1 Year & 9 Months)

Polymers Handled : ABS Transparent, ABS Regular, PP, HIPS, TPE, G.P.P.S,  

Master batch, Polyethylene oxide, etc.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection of Incoming Polymer raw materials 

Testing the raw materials through various test apparatus such as MFI-Tester, Izod Impact Tester, H.DT, V.S.P, etc. 

Conducting Trials on new grades of materials and optimizing the performance with respect to the Existing material. such as quality, productivity, consistency etc.

Handling complete authority from Inspection of  Material, Molding, Quality, Checking & to the final finished Product.

Developing Vendors & Suppliers for Polymer Materials.

Evaluating vendors & suppliers on the basis of, market presence their quality standards & also economically with respect to Cost, Transportation & Avability  etc.   

Making vendor visits for complete validation of manufacturing facilities and quality standards. 

Procuring the materials for longer trials runs only after getting approved through internal quality procedures. 

Troubleshooting on injection Molding machines, handled most of Injection Molding machines like L&T Demag, Asian Plastics Machinery, Krauss Mafeii, Trulzi etc.  

Utilizing the optimum use of available resources.

Working on various Polymer-based Projects and successfully implementing them through continous research & development is basically a Compounded material obtained from Polymer?Polyethylene Oxide? it is a lubrous material and gives smooth shaving effect).



Inplant Training  

Reliance Industries Ltd? Product Application & Research Centre (PARC)-Chembur?, Mumbai (Plastic & Petrochemical Division) ?Six Months.



Testing the raw materials & molded products various Labotrical equipments like tensile tester, flexural tester Izod Impact tester, Dart impact tester, Melt flow index.
