Job Profile :

Understanding the new requirements from OEM for switches & solenoids. Getting the concepts, prototypes, and its validation done. Proposal approval by discussion with OEM.

Initial techno-commercial  activities for switches & solenoids development:-

Budgetary costing activities Preliminary BOM, Product RMC, tooling and fixture development cost.

Proposals to manage the product as per target & getting management approval for the same.

Preparation of entire development plan by coordinating with all functions. 

My prime responsibility is design of switches and solenoids :-

Allocating designers and other resources.

Checking the design calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, implementation of standards, drawings, BOM, etc.

Constant project review with the process engineering, manufacturing and materials team to ensure the activities of tooling and line setup as per plan. Identification of bottleneck operations and take necessary actions.

Active involvement in analysis for corrective actions for lab failures or customer end feedback for the pilot lot samples.

Involved in cost reduction and quality improvement projects for  field failure and warranty analysis.
