Project Work:

3D Object Modeling

This project aims at providing a 3D image using nothing more than a simple image capturing device [a high resolution webcam] and a rotating platform on which the object is mounted. The various images captured are then reconstructed into a 3D whole with the help of Matlab functions called basis functions or Shapelets. The proposed project is an attempt at providing a low cost portable alternative to the existing techniques that provide similar results.

Acquainted with programming languages C++ and Java.
