Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1.  Capex Management:
Develop and manage capital expenditure budgets.
Oversee the procurement and installation of new equipment and facilities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.

2. Logistics Management:
Develop and implement strategies for efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Supervise and manage daily logistics operations.
Monitor and coordinate the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery.
Negotiate with vendors and carriers to secure competitive rates and services.
Oversee inventory management and shipping activities.

3. Vendor Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers.
Evaluate and select vendors based on performance and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors.

4. Process Improvement:
Analyse and improve existing logistics processes to optimize efficiency.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance logistics operations.
Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics.

5. Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely reports for management and other stakeholders.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering. Post Graduate Diploma in supply chain management, Logistics, Master of Business Administration etc.
Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in logistics and capex management in Plastic Industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in ERP software and tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
