Job Profile:
Working as head of department and reporting to MD (manufacturing section consists of 75 starlinger looms, 3 extruders, one lamination line, recycling plant, twine m/c, and liner plant having total manpower strength of 220 workmen)
To prepare and implement production plan as per work order received from sales department
Material and manpower planning as per production schedule
To ensure to carry out all functions of manufacturing department as per ISO standard
To plan and implement all preventive maintenance schedule for all machines and equipment in extrusion and weaving section and carry out maintenance as per schedule plan
Monitoring stock of spares, ordering spares and development of spares from local workshop to minimize cost of spares
Process development and monitoring cost of product and finding alternate way to reduce costs of product
Training of workmen and supervisors to increase efficiency and to improve quality of product and motivating work force for implmentation of good working practices.
Responsible for semi finish and finished stock of goods and controlling its stock level on shop floor and preparing stock statement as required by management
Additional responsibility:
Internal audit, as internal auditor as per ISO standards and giving report of internal audit to MD
Responsible for minimising non comformity product and its proper line of action to utilise non conforming product to minimise production loss
Responsible for inward raw material and spare part inspection received from various suppliers.
