Job Profile
To prepare Daily & monthly production plan as per orders from OEM customers and exports.
Maintain Daily Work Management (DWM) Sheets.
To maintain plan for production & purchase.
Achieve daily production target as per market requirement.
Release the material requirement schedules to approved vendors as per material requirement plan (MRP).
Stabilize to procure material like sub assemblies, machined components, press parts and plastic molded parts from local vendors by milk run as well as from other vendors.
Co-ordinate with supply chain (material function) for availability of raw material and vendor KANBAN for B & C class item.
To trigger vendor to deliver material in agreed lead-time of KANBAN
Purchasing of raw material such as copper, steel and Aluminum alloy, forging and casting in various grades and shapes. Machined component in steel Aluminum die casting and forging.

Inventory Control:
Fix the inventory targets for every purchased items (MSL), monitor the stock level meticulously and initiate immediate corrective measures when the inventory shots beyond target.

Production:
To improve overall asset utilization in the plant and implementing best work practices such as Toyota Production System. Responsible for overall manufacturing resource planning. Enhance productivity level of key operations. To plan inter-related activities to achieve monthly production target. To monitor workers productivity and daily output. To control the WIP on assembly line.

Vendor Development:
To select the vendor for procurement of items of desired quality and quantity at a competitive and at a acceptable cost. Development of new vendors done for Armature Shaft, casting and sub-assemblies leads into cost reduction, quality and hence increase in production.
Increase production by 25 % . Instrumental is superseding production targets every year and got the Performance Monitoring Scheme (PMS) Award every year.
Working on Starter Motor Line As a Group Leader.
