I Have Great Supervisory And Management Skills, And I Consider My Self To Be An Expert In Plastic Processing For Both Thermoforming And Injection Molding. I Have Extensive Manufacturing Experience And Would Be Valuable To Any Manufacturing Company.
Working with a leading company as a Production Manager since July 2003
Setup Tech. To Process Tech. To Now Mfg Team Lead (production Manager)
Job Responsibility :
Involved in a lean manufacturing team focused on setup reduction, we were able to reduce setup (change over) time by 50% from four hrs down to two hrs.
Developed and implemented a system for Quality Auditing at the source. We went from a single auditor position on each shift to functional teams of operators who do their own Quality Auditing therefore eliminating the need for the position of auditor on each shift while maintaining and improving the level of quality. Implemented several 5s projects around the shop which eliminated a lot of tedious shop cleanliness issues helping the shop stay clean, neat and organized.
Also includes oversight of the entire mfg floor, all three shifts. All three shift leads report to me (totaling thirty five to forty employees beneath me)
Handle and oversee performance evaluations
Handle and oversee disciplinary actions.
Communicate and enforce the companies Kpis (labor Goals, Efficiency Goals, Safety Goals, Cost Of Poor Quality Goals, Etc.)
Previous responsibilities included setting up and trouble shooting of 26 Injection Molding machines, Problem solving, Testing using scientific molding processes, Developing processes for new tools and support for the mfg floor.
Worked with Gage Ind., Tigard, Or as a Supervisor from Aug. 1994 to Dec. 2002
Started my employment with Gage as an entry level machine operator.
When I took over graveyard shift I inherited the most dysfunctional, least productive shift. To turn the shift around into the most productive, efficient and reliable shift, able to design a system of lean set ups which was modeled and used thru out the company as the standard on how to do setups and changeovers.
Responsibilities :
For setting up the equipment, trouble shooting the equipment, maintaining the equipment, (15 Rotary Thermoforming Presses) and light maintenance around the shop.
For ensuring the quality of the products wth documented process controls
as a shop lead, duties included assigning tasks, meeting production goals, following quality standards and safety standards.
as the graveyard supervisor my responsibilities included performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, responsible for meeting production goals, oversight of day to day activities for all employees (fifteen To Twenty Employees).
