Design of gearbox with higher torque and load carrying capacity for industrial applications including overland conveyors, feeders and mill drives. Housing casting design enclosing gears, shafts, seals, bearings and other internal components. Accessories design - cooling devices, backstop assemblies, unit mounted torque arms, couplings, immersion heaters, condition monitoring devices, lubrication packages, forced lubrication, Alignment free drives.

Project : 2D to 3D Conversion of casting parts

Description : Scope of the project was to understand the casting process used by the
client to produce the valves and create the castings in 3D, prepare
manufacturing drawings for the same.
Roles & Responsibility:
As an active member took the whole responsibility of creating the 3D models for the casting components such as valve bodies, housings, manifolds used in DCV’s. Also responsible for creating manufacturing drawings for production. Additional responsibility involved
Co-ordinating with the client for clarifications and updates on the project.
Project : Engineering Change Orders on Diaphragm Valves
Tool : Autodesk Inventor 2010, AutoCAD 2009
Description : Engineering change requests on diaphragm valves. New product
configuration, preparing engineering change notes and co-coordinating with
the client on daily basis to execute the project.
Roles & Responsibility:
Lead a team of 3 to execute the project. Responsibilities involved creating engineering change notes, new product configurations and maintaining quality metrics and co-ordinating with the client. Products involved Diaphragm valves, Pressure regulators.
