Job profile -
Design & Development of Thermoforming Product as per client sample or for standard mould size with
considering shrinkage factors. Making 3D model & detailed drawing of product.
As per sample, cutting size is decided & this will refer as a Mould Size for that particular product. Using both cutting size & Forming area of thermoforming M/C cavity numbers are calculated & Mould
layout is designed such that it will utilize all forming area properly. This will lower sheet wastage.
Mould Design includes major designing of Cutting Edge, Male former & Cavity-Ejector system.
Designing of Mould parts by providing suitable cooling & air venting system as per BSP standards with the help of 3D modelling software (SolidWorks) & assembling.
Making detailed drawing of each mould parts and assembly on AutoCAD. Detailed drawing includes
positioning of BSP tap connectors & reducers provided for water cooling and air venting system.
Preparation of BOM.
Inspection of various parts manufactured by vendors.
