Class A surface to Close volume creation, Mounting of B-side features and Parting line creation.
Continuous interacting with customer to discuss about the frequently changing inputs and proposals. Manufacturing/Tooling feasibility checking i.e. Draft analysis.
DMU analysis to check Clash, Clearance, Gap & Contact between matting & environment parts
2.9 Years of experience in Plastic product design of Automotive Interior for Global passenger cars.
Design and Development of injection molded Interior plastic trim product considering design guidelines. Hands on experience in Styling feasibility, Tooling feasibility, Part Merge/Split solution, Packaging study,
Master section creation and DMU analysis.
Concept designing of features for Fixation, strength and locating purpose on B-side keeping considering
Tooling, Sink mark, Undercut, DFA and DFMEA.
Preparing Report/proposals like tooling feasibility report, part split/merge proposal & Packaging study
proposal.
Knowledge of Plastic Materials Properties, Defects and its remedies, plastic joining processes, mold
design and Injection molding process.
Proficiency in working with CATIA V5 to design plastic parts by using effective CAD Methodology to fulfill
customer requirements.
Proficient in Sketcher, Part design (Solid modelling), Surfacing (GSD), Assembly design & 2D Drawing.

Close volume creation, Non-parametric to parametric modelling i.e. Re-mastering or Reverse
Engineering, Skin, Foam & Plastic close volume and wrapping creation, Master section follow, 2D to 3D
conversion and Update A-surface.
Avoid possible undercuts to minimize Tooling cost of slider/lifter by modifying part without affecting its
function.
Understanding of GD & T (ASME Y14.5), Tolerance stack-up & 3-2-1 principle for locating part.
Knowledge of safety regulations ECE & FMVSS for Interior trim.
