Job Description

We are looking for painted part BOM costing, Team Feasibility Commitment Sheet (TFC), Part Feasibility Part, project management, new fixture development for part holding, Part & process development.
Part & Process Engineering from LOI; until the part of handed over to mass production is the job holder is responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
1) New Product Development for Painting:
Prepare accurate and timely internal TFC and costing for all RFQs received for Painted Projects.
On time development of all painted projects as per customer timelines. (Jigs, carriers, tool etc)
Successful and timely Industrialisation of all Painted parts as per internal TFC (QCD Parameters)
New product introductions as per customer requirements & grow the business turn-over & profits.
Prepare and implement roadmap to bring state-of-art manufacturing technologies to improve part quality, minimize manufacturing costs and increase product portfolio range.
Designing all new process, ensuring development as per design and smooth handover to production.

2) Painting Production Planning & Control for painting:
Production Planning, Process control as per internal TFC, and troubleshooting.
100% on time and quality product Delivery of all customers.
Monitoring and controlling internal and external PPM.
Ensuring Rejection and wastage is achieved as per budget.
Achieving OEE targets
Ensuring capacity utilisation.
Monitoring & Controlling: All costs as per the budget (RMC, Manpower, Electricity, consumable costs & P&F etc).
Setting up production targets and achieving the same within time and cost parameters.
Developing new process concepts for production optimization, yield improvement and developing guidelines for sequencing of manufacturing activities on the shop floor (SOP).
Ensuring clearance of customer audits with excellent marking.
Interact with customer to resolve all quality issues related to painting products (by providing RCA, WHY WHY , 8D) and ensuring the same is not repeated in the future

3) Process Enhancement & Savings:
Executing cost saving techniques/measures through reducing cycle times, increasing productivity, manpower, electricity, consumables etc to achieve substantial reduction and work within the budget.
Reducing material costs through VAVE, new vendor development and better buying.
Reduction in costs though better buying of packing material.

Technical Skill Requirements
2D and 3D Design
Knowledge of painting process & paint defect Analysis.
Part & Process Development
Internal Part and Process Costing
No’s of paint coat and DFT calculation
Internal jig Cost- its calculation.
Well Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, DFMEA, PPAP, SPC and MSA.
Strong painting Process Knowledge
Knowledge about Project Cost/Product Cost.
On-line Problem solving, G8D report, CAPA report.
Documentation knowledge.
