Sound Experience in Designing of Automatic and Automated Manual Transmission Gear Shifters for cars, Designing of Shifter KNOB, Artificial Feel design for shifter, Conventional knowledge on Designing of Actuators, Mechanical Linkage for Actuators, Designing of Parking Brakes, Light Duty Cables. 
Read and interpret the Customer Statement of Requirements (SOR) and make a grand list of product functions, classify the identified functions suitably into Engineering and Design functions. Establish Design Targets and identify Bench Marking product. 
Establish Boundary diagram and Design goals for the product and create a skeleton model
Generate a concept level BOM with basic materials identification.
Design a basic working model within customer defined packaging (Volume).
Develop feasible design with all manufacturability considerations (Tooling direction, parting line locations, etc.)
Handling necessary modifications to develop cost effective design meeting all load cases (Static, Dynamic and Impact Loading).
Apply Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) for all parts and generate print drawings.
