Role Description - New development of Plastic parts using trim surfaces provided by product design team and Sheet Metal parts for mounting and supporting purpose of Plastic parts. Study of existing parts from different variants for feasibility of carry over and reference for new development. Create drawings for parts developed as per client standards. Interaction with Product design team for improvements. To check whether the designed parts fulfill standard requirements by conducting Virtual analysis tests on them with the help of Analysis team. Creation of Installation Guide lines. Create engineering change notice and take care of complete product cycle life management till the parts and drawings pass all the standard tests and are considered to be valid. Discussion with suppliers for explanation of Part design, Part requirement and testing. Solve the issues occurred during Physical tests. Conduct real time tests on Proto-types. Installation of new parts on vehicle. Solve issues which occur during proto-builds.

Project Details: To Develop Cabin Exterior Equipment's which are best for the available environment and which also fulfills the market requirement. Check Existing parts for possibility of carryover, which will result in huge cost saving. Developing parts by using styling surfaces created by styling team and also request them for modifications if required. Discuss with suppliers for feasibility as per our technical requirements and accommodate small design change if required.

Modifying design of the parts or Replacing Parts to improve Performance and reduce cost. Updating drawings or generating new ones based on the solution. Creating Engineering chance notice and taking care of all related parts and drawings till they get approved.

Project Details: Problems of Missing parts and Failed parts were registered by Production Department. Then root cause of the problem was found and registered in a report. Then to solve the problems with simplest way possible without much change in tooling of the plastic parts and substituting the failed parts with equivalent existing parts from other variants. Then an Engineering change request was created by client. Then to create an Engineering change notice to implement all the changes as per solution decided. To modify Parts, Modules and drawings as per solution. To check whether the modified parts fulfill standard requirements by conducting Virtual analysis tests on them with the help of Analysis team. To take care of complete product cycle life management till the parts and drawings pass all the standard tests and are considered to be valid.
