Design Engineer, Injection Mould Design

Company Profile: Engaged in manufacturing of commercial plastic injection mould for our customers according to their requirement in Automobile.
Job Profile:
Getting customer input from design head.
Checking the part model for any undercut which can’t be taken in slider Or Lifter.
Making DFM for parting line, gate runner, ejector position, mould layout if any modification
needed in part.
Concluding the points with design head DFM will be send to customer
Check the 2D & 3D comparison report for product.
Part modification for customer request.
After getting approval from customer core & cavity will be extracted in UG (NX 10).
Then we will start the cooling, ejector position, runner gate position and slider.
Lifter position and mould base construction design review will be conducted with tool room head,
design head and review points will be implemented in design.
Mould base and core & cavity insert will be ordered.
Electrodes for core, cavity, sub inserts, slider & lifter released for cam and some model will be
released to the EDM department.
Making ECN Modification in the mould as per customer requirement.
Any correction works will be done after To trailer.
