Entrusted with the responsibility of design and development of products; designed designs in Pro-E Wild fire 3, CatiaV5 and AutoCad.
Accountable for conducting product analysis, testing as per standards, including Molds and press tool design and development.
Performing root-cause analysis of defects while developing & improving the process by taking corrective actions to prevent any reoccurrences and defective issues.
Reorganizing service systems and developing service quality standards for increasing efficiency
Coordinating with the manufacturing and QA department for the regular validation program while assisting the validation team during the validation of machines & products.
Providing technical assistance to the suppliers and ensured adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
Active member of implementation and documentation of ISO 13485 -standard required for medical equipment manufacturing companies.

It is a part of the group titled “PA group“ an ISO 9001: 2000 company, engaged in the manufacturing & marketing of watches under the brand name “maxima”. It is also diversifying in the field of speedometer of auto mobiles, switchgears, and electrical components.
Key Accountabilities
Successfully handled designing, developing and manufacturing of watch components and carried out detailed planning and scheduling to ensure execution of the work within time and budgetary parameters; Implementations of KAIZEN and POKA YOKE during product development.
Proven expertise in development of new technologies for product development.
Adapted and implemented stage by stage quality monitoring system to ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
Received distinction in the designing of moulds, Moulds (2 plates & 3 plates) and Press Tools (Compound & Progressive), for the different parts of the watch and watch movements using software –Pro-E Wildfire and AutoCAD.

Proficiency of Tool room machines of special purpose machines like, CNC machines having FAGOR AND FANUC control, AGIE WIRECUT, CHARMILLES AND AGIE EDM, jig boring, jig grinding and EWAG. And general purpose machines such as surface grinder, cylindrical grinder, lathes, hand drills etc
Liaison with vendors for outsourced tool machines.
Designed electrodes for cavity machining on SPARK EDM considering the spark gap and jigs and fixture designing considering the machining ease.
Accomplishments
Reduced the strip width of the components by modifying the strip layout and thus saving the component cost.
Also controlled the fracture and burr on the component by modifying the strip layout.
Modified the runner layout for the multi-cavity moulds and thus saved the material.
Developed 3 complete watch movements by reverse engineering. This includes from checking, measuring, inspection, designing, manufacturing sequences etc. to final component generation.
Designed and developed many new complete Watch Outers (Case, Strap, and Movement Holder, buckle, Back Cover etc.).
Developed three different micro molds i.e. inter pinion, third wheel, rotor pinion to eliminate metallic wheels and pinions in watch movement.
To hold a Senior managerial position of the product development department & handling challenging projects.
