Body Side – C Pillar Design
Description: Design of body side C pillar. The C pillar was started from concept level master section. Then the profile were modified as per styling surface of door trim line and passenger in and out clearance and interfacing part mounting location and consider side post crush strength. As per door trim line surface, designed concept level structure from that one modified structure for seat belt anchorage and door striker pin provision. For ease of joining maintained enough clearance between body panel and C pillar reinforcement brackets. Where striker pin and seat belt anchorage mounting hole is coming there provided reinforcement bracket for better strength of structure CATIAV5-GSD.

Hood Assembly And Their Reinforcement Bracket Design
Description:
The styling surface is extracted for surface modeling. Designed the Hood assembly and their reinforcement brackets as per styling surface. Designed flange for assembly purpose and as per concept level date, CAE suggest reinforcement bracket location. As per CAE report designed reinforcement brackets with necessary sheet metal design consideration such as thickness, material, welding location, mounting locations etc., and created PLP point for checking part and created tooling hole for manufacturing. The work held with CATIAV5-GSD.

Fuel Tank And Mounting Brackets
Description:
The design of fuel tank and mounting brackets. Designed Fuel tank with necessary sheet metal design consideration such as draw direction, parting line, welding type, thickness, material, mounting locations etc., and the main consideration is we have to replace the sheet metal fuel tank instead of plastic fuel tank with same packaging and mounting location. As per new design of mounting brackets I applied GD&T and tolerance stack up analysis to all brackets according to that we changed some holes to slots. The work held with CATIAV5
