Special International Experience: Onsite for 6 months
I was deputed for 2 times for 90 days in Engine cooling dept. This department includes different OEM related projects of Engine cooling modules with components such as Radiator, LTR, CAC,I-CAC and Fan Shroud etc.I was there for design support of Fiat Maserati project for the complete cooling module. I was responsible for the concept planning of engine cooling components and send the proposals to OEM for approval. I used to take the initiative while I was there, and take the work and transfer to India and get it done from team mates from India along with managing my individual tasks. I had my involvement in the design related meetings with the German colleagues and solve them. Also got an opportunity to visit Behr Production Plant, Validation Department, Prototype shop, Wind tunnels and some supplier plants to understand manufacturing process of products etc.

Study and Understandings of BISS calculations.
Creating concepts and proposals for engine cooling components as per OEM requirement within the constrained package data.
Designing plastic and sheet metal components considering tooling point of view and send the data for Protoshop.
Designing the engine cooling components referring the Proto results, CFD and FEA results and some special requirements from end customer.
Creating proposal for Commonisations of components which saves the cost of new Tooling
Preparing drawings for plastic and sheet metal components by applying necessary
GD & T and other special OEM requirements.
Preparing part structure in Team centre EDM & SAP ECTR and creating GTA structure to update the updation of design to the production.
Support German Design Team to complete project on time.
Involvement in the Conceptual meeting with German Colleagues along with End customer.
Modification of 3d design and drawings of components to achieve the proper validation report.
Project Management/Documentation and Compliance check of the complete design to validate design with Company Standards.
