Project Description:
The manufacture of PVC is done by the balanced process. Balanced Process Is the combination of direct chlorination process and oxy chlorination process. First ethylene is treated with chlorine forming ethylene dichloride and hydrogen chloride. This hydrogen chloride along with air is made to react with fresh ethylene to produce ethylendichloride and water. Ethylene dichloride is then subjected to cracking to give vinyl chloride and hydrogen chloride. This hydrogen chloride may also be recycled to oxychlorination unit. In this project we have done design of Distillation column unit and paralysis unit.
Studies On Effects Of Talc On Polypropylene:
Handled this project PGD-PE course, which determines how the properties like Strength, Modulus, Melt Flow Index, Hardness, Abrasion Resistance, Brittleness, Tensile Strength, Compressive Strength, Impact Strength, etc.of Polypropylene can be changed with the percentage increase of Talc.
