Job Profile:
Injection molding of thermoplastic material
Machine utilization up to 95 % and down control of machines to a minimum.
Process optimisation,
Man power planning and utilization
Monitoring of molding activities and preparation of daily reports
Study of defects analyzes and correcting them to reduce scrap
Calculation of cycle-time of machines and run them on cycle-time to reduce ideal time and increase productivity

PROCESS RELATED ACTIVITY
Responsible for all operations carried out in the plastics component manufacturing such as planning and executing production of molded component and to ensure effective utilization of resources

Monitoring of Overall Plant Efficiency & Machine Utilization.

QUALITY ASSURANCE RELATED ACTIVITIES
Process audit of all injection molding machines at least twice in a shift
Implement SPC- Process charts like X-R charts and calculation of process capability-Cp during running process
Collect quality feedback from QC department about previous shift’s production and take steps to prevent reoccurrence in one’s own shift
Maintain specification of plastics molded components like visual inspection, checking physical dimensions and quality during process

MAN-POWER MANAGEMENT AND SAFETY RELATED ACTIVITY
Overseeing that allotted and designated tasks are carried out in time by strictly following safety, quality and production norms.
Ensuring deployment of workmen on machine as per “right man for the right job” principle
Monitoring the performance of the operators and giving feedback to the training department if it is required.
Providing regular feedback to Personal Manager on performance of workman
Ensure personal supervision of all works being carried out at height
Counsel workmen if safety violence of any kind is detected
Ensure usage of machine guards during entire production process
