Job Profile:
Inprocess & System Management – Quality Control & Assurance
Conversion of parts to DOL (Direct on-line) through process study by monitoring quality status of the part.
Responsible for Process & System gradation in the following deptts.: Injection, Assembly & Paint Shop
Doing analysis of the problematic part with the help of 5-Why sheet and fish bone diagram.
Ensuring effective communication for the problem reported at customer end by displaying problem intimation sheet with in 24 hrs, through shift-start meeting, training & counselling of the concerned associated.
Converting of parts to DOL (direct on line) through process study & its quality performance rating up till date.
To monitor daily internal problems (Quality problems) and ensuring on-time submission of some fool-proof countermeasure to avoid repetition of the same.
Responsible for implementation of 5’S’ and KAIZEN in the allotted area.
Submission of PQCT’s and INSPECTION Standard’s for the new model developments parts after ensuring everything to be as per the proposed drawing & specifications.
Providing Training to the associates on general & shop floor related activities.

Vendor Management (Oct 2010 till date) – Quality Control
Responsible for incoming parts quality issues, Raw material(plastic resign, paint, child parts, etc).
Preparing / Implementation of vendor’s systems audits plan.
Reviewing the vendor’s systems, procedures and processes for assurance of quality standard.
Ensuring proper incoming materials inspection to avoid passing of any defective part to the production line.
Rating / awarding to vendors based on their PPM levels (Parts per Million – Rejection) and delivery times.
Analyse the problems from supplier mentioned in online trouble report reported from respective department using QC tools.
Suppliers are audited as part of the APQP activities. Documents and Processes of the suppliers are closely scrutinized on this type of audit. Understanding the process, identification of critical dimensions/characteristics, process controls, and product quality assurance are the emphasis on this activity. The main goal is to assure a flawless launch during mass production. PPAP approval is also incorporated on this activity.
If there is a Major Supplier Quality Issue. We term this as Problem Solving Audit. Ishikawa diagram, control charts, SPC and other quality tools are used during this activity. In-depth technical analysis is required. This had exposed me to different issues on manufacturing, and had learned to deal with it appropriately even under pressure.
