Highlights:
Problem Solving Initiatives:
Insulating Line Extruder Current Variation: Identified and solved high variation in the extruder current leads to opening of insulation of the cables.
Black Spots Problem on Insulation: Redesigned Whole Calorimeter System to avoid the black spots on the insulation.
Sudden Line Stoppage Problem: Identified traverse and dancer problem. Suggested to change take up traverse system to gear system. The step taken was highly appreciated.
Selected for attending “Creative Leadership Programme for Industries and Nation Building” conducted by ‘Moral Rearmament Center’ held at Panchgani.
Attended training programmes viz. ISO Training, Six Sigma Awareness and Fire Fighting System.
Due to frequent clogging of PVC in Main Hopper productivity and quality of the product was hampering. The problem was identified and the form of Hopper was modified. This enabled smooth flow of the material into the feed section of the extrude ensuring the quality product. This also led to increase in the yield in lesser time.
Under running condition, observed the maximum variation in the temperature of the extruder. As per the suggestion, authorities agreed to change the Blower of the Feed section. This enhanced the smooth flow of material with negligible temperature variation.
Reduced consumption of Raw Materials, Copper and PVC by changing parameters like, diameter of the copper conductor and radial thickness of the insulation diameter. This resulted in a massive savings of raw materials in several hundred kg.
Selected for attending Leadership Programme as a representative.

Future Goals
