Job Description

To oversee & monitor effectively procurement, inventory of material from domestic & international sources & dispatches of goods on timely basis
To handle procurement, logistics function effectively, so that production delivery targets & marketing commitment to customers meet because of on time material procurement & delivery.
Must be well versed with procurement's of items from different types like of mechanical. hydraulic, electrical, bought outs, electronics, Industrial castings – SGI- CI, pattern making knowledge, knowledge of casting quality norms, Foundry knowledge, Sheet Metal etc.
Develop, maintain and implement all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that purchasing function & team operates fully and effectively.
Handle vendor development & perform continuous vendor assessment for material delivery & quality.
Must be well versed with all statutory compliance & legal laws within India & of overseas countries pertaining to purchase & procurement.

Key Deliverables :
Procurement, Monitoring & Controlling of all types of requisite materials.
Updated information about legal laws & regulations.
Excellent command over SAP – MM module
Timely dispatches of machines & spares.

Reporting To Manager - SCM

4 – 5 years in SCM dept. of Manufacturing sector.
Must have operating knowledge of SAP – MM Module.
Well versed with Leadership & People Management skills.
Excellent motivation, communication & organizing skills.
Good interpersonal & negotiations skills.
Excellent time management techniques.
