Production Coordinator / Oracle Manufacturing Encoder

Job Profile :
Check drawings and cut list prior to work order preparation and issuance to ensure that items for manufacturing is according to the specifications and requirements as specified in the BOQ
Prepares work order for all items for production and distributes to all production sections including production schedule.
Determine project material requirements for the requisition preparation as required for material purchasing/ordering as well as issuance of requisitions for new and special materials and sub-contracting of parts to third party.
Monitors current inventory status of component parts while maintaining inventory logs for piece parts and finished goods.
Coordinates with Material and Purchasing Department to ensures material required are available on time and at the right quantity.
Continuously monitors flow of work and daily progress within or between sections to expedite production and meet deadlines.
Collects daily production report to be used for updating actual labour and material incurred in each job order in the Oracle Manufacturing System.
Ensures manufacturing procedures, records and documentation are implemented in compliance to ISO 9001:2008 requirements and Health & Safety Procedures and Policy
Ensures smooth flow of production at all times while suggesting alternative solutions to fill gaps when problem arises.
Provide recommendations and support implementation of Lean Manufacturing activities.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
