Project:
Project Name: Effect of Nano Fillers on Air Permeability of Natural Rubber Tube Compounds
Project Guide: Mr. K. Rajkumar (Deputy Director)
Institution: Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association
I learned the application and effect of nano fillers like nano silica and nano clay on natural rubber tube compounds. Project also focused on critical properties like air permeability both at room temperature and elevated temperatures along with physico-mechanical properties of NR-nanocomposites. Project was successfully completed in 2 months duration and I was recognised by Mr.K.Rajkumar for the analytical report and content.

Training programs:
Manufacturing and Quality Control :
The training was conducted by Rubber Research Institute of India (RRII), Kottayam.I was trained on rubber products manufacturing and testing like tensile testing, tear testing, abrasion resistance, flex resistance, hardness test, specific gravity, compression set and tension set. It was a 14 days intensive training programme conducted by the esteemed faculty of RRII.
Applications of Rubber in Footwear Industry:
The training programme was conducted by VKC Industries, Calicut, Kerala. I was trained on the manufacturing of footwear. The training concluded with a Lecture from The Managing Director of VKC Industries on manufacturing, system process and their products.
