Job Profile:
Handling of Novel Projects/ Research Projects/ New Business Development Projects (Both short term and long term) for new business generation in BU Masterbatches.
Specific role: Development of new CIPAC method for new Anti-mosquito masterbatches complying to the rules of WHO.
Co-ordination with marketing and product development team for given task.
Laboratory scale to bulk production co-relation.
Working closely with Product Stewardship team for compliance for new products.
Working closely with our Regional Innovation Centre for generation of commercially viable novel products.
New Business Development: Understanding the trends in the market and unmet needs of the customer. Studying the commercial viability of projects and execution of the same.

Achievements
From November 2013-present; inclusive of internship period:
Novel Product Commercialization: Anti-mosquito synergist masterbatch with novel polymer technology and novel processing mechanism.
Liquid Masterbatch for PET Fiber: Technical support (Formulation support, Dispersion technology, Pigment processing in various carriers, Final product characterization, Analysis and Interpretation of the results obtained) for this new venture in BU Masterbatches.
Set-up of liquid masterbatch laboratory : Helped in set up of liquid masterbatch laboratory from scratch for pilot preparations for applications inclusive of PET Fiber, Polyolefin molding and bottle blow molding.
Fragrance masterbatch: Speciality Fragrance masterbatch for molding and non-woven applications. (Formulation expert and application manager)
National market survey - Masterbatches (2013-14): Understanding the trends and opportunities for masterbatches by means of primary and secondary data from various segments and indicating new business developments to our sales team.
