Research Summary:
During Ph.D, I have synthesized Ferrite (Fe3O4), titanium oxide (TiO2) and cerium doped titanium oxide (Ce-TiO2) nanoparticles via polyol method which were used as nanofillers.Sustainable resource i.e.vegetable seed oils were used to synthesizepolymers (like alkyd, epoxies, polyol, polyurethanes and polyester-urethanes). Thesepolymers were used as polymeric matrix for the formulation of polymer nanocomposite by dispersing above synthesized nanoparticles via sonication. Synthesized polymer nanocomposite were used to investigate their anticorrosive behavior on carbon steel substrate along with the thermal, mechanical and hydrophobic behavior
