Domain Specialist – Energy & Packaging Segment: Commodity research & Procurement strategies related to Crude Oil, its products & Polymers and Packaging materials
Analyzing fundamentals and technical aspects of commodities for reports preparations
Data sourcing from Reuters, Nymex and other different sources and incorporate the findings in various reports to enhance quality and output
Identifying & transforming the information collected from diverse resources into the raw data, which in turn would be the basic foundation for research purpose
Analyzing Primary & Secondary data, using statistical modeling & various other customized tools, predicting Supply Demand scenario and eventually forecasting commodity prices
Working on time-series data to find out the seasonality in demand, supply and prices of the commodity
Generating customized procurement reports by using the given the outlook, keeping in mind client procurement requirements
Designing tailor made procurement strategy of given commodities for clients in respective sectors, based on their purchase window
Acting as a liaison point between the company and client, constant interaction with clients to improvise on research update and cementing healthy relations with clients and resolving their business queries
Addressing the Risk avenues on Commodities front – Tracking the companies procurement mechanism(purchase pattern, Pricing formula, etc), taking into consideration Price Volatility, trending nature of Commodity prices, lead – lag effect of Commodity Consumption
Assisting internal Risk-team to prepare hedging solution for specific clients
Vendors identification in different regions keeping clients requirement in view for Paper and Paper Boards and Polymer segments
Constant interaction with industry professional in Paper and Paper Boards and Polymers segments to be updated on latest markets happenings and analyze its impact on price movement of these commodities
