are injection mold and blow mold.This research aims at to study the product developments cycle for 4 injection
molded article and 2 blow molded articles used in automobile sector. During the process of these 6 product’s mold manufacturing, wastage of resources were noted during understanding the customer requirement,
preliminary design, feasibility of the design, manufacturing of mold, taking trials, checking and testing of samples after trial. Factors affecting productivity during the important stage of designing and manufacturing molds for injection and blow molded articles were studied.
