Brief Overview of Project:
During this period designed a moulds core and cavities and complete Mould Design Sets.


PROJECT – 2 (During project training):
Title: Design and Analysis of a HMC fixture for NLC 460 Cylinder block
Undertaken at: TVS SUNDARAM CLAYTON LTD. - BRAKES DIVISION, CHENNAI.
Brief overview of the project
The project involved the design and analysis of machining fixture by thorough understanding the CAD drawings of a component. The basic location & clamping points are decided as per 3-2-1 Principle & the necessary clamping & location devices are implemented. The clamping force is calculated manually based on the clamping element in the fixture design. The clamping force analysis is made for a calculated clamping force using Ansys workbench 9.1 to analyse the deformation occurrence in the component

Project undertaken during B.E

Title: Design and Modification of Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) main gear box test RIG ”
Undertaken at: H.A.L., BANGALORE
Brief Overview of Project:
The project involved the design and modification of a Bracket, adapters & in fastening techniques in the test rig in order to restrict the vibration during the testing operation on helicopter MGB. The system currently in place was manual, which was slow and hazardous to the working condition. The new modification has made the process safer for the operating and also speedened the process.
