Work Experience

Summer training at Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA), Ghaziabad. At NITRA, conducted tests of various properties of Polymer used in Textile industries, Fibers, Yarn and Fabrics such as Melt Flow Index, Abrasion, Denier of a fiber, Strength, Crimp, Elongation, Yarn hairiness, Yarn evenness, Dynamic strength, Twist per inch, Abrasion resistance of fabric, Permeability to air and water, Drape coefficient, Bursting strength, Crease recovery etc. Apart from these, chemical tests such as Effect of various factors on fabric like UV light, Barium activity number determination, and Identification of Fiber/Blend composition were also carried out. Used various instruments like MFI tester, Vibroscop 400, DSC, TGA, and DTA during the training.
