In quest of challenging opportunities in Production Operations and Quality Assurance with a leading organisation. In support of that I have master’s degree in Polymer Engineering and bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science with two months of internship at Nahata Polymers and a laboratory based project.

M.Sc. Project:
Developing polymer composites using waste and recycled materials.
Epoxy resin used as matrix material with different sizes of rubber particles and mixing of glass fiber into the system to increase the weight of product. Through simple Casting process the desired shaped product was prepared and different tests such as tensile test, 3-point bend test, and charpy impact test was performed to understand the effect of rubber crumbs and glass fibers on mechanical properties of epoxy resin.

Two months summer internship at Nahata Polymers helped me a lot in enhancing my industry level working skills. Several tasks were executed to obtain the finest product with desired results such as:
Compounding of Polypropylene was done using twin screw extruder to promote the flow properties of polypropylene.
Different tests such as Specific Gravity, Melt Flow Index, Ash Content, Izod Impact test, Tensile test, Heat Deflection test and colour matching were conducted.

Working in a team requires sharing of information and mutual assistance to complete the task to everyone’s satisfaction and benefit.
During internship worked with other employees including labor staff and engineer’s staff all work was done very effectively and efficiently.

As being a full time international M.Sc. student, having maintained focus on study with good academic results while working part-time shows the ability of management and prioritizing things successfully.
