Project: Synthesis of Bio-based Polyurethane Nanocomposite (PUN) for Coating Application
Guide: Dr. Hemjyoti Kalita, Research Associate, LARPM, CIPET

Description: Under the guidance of Dr. H. Kalita, I designed the total set up, synthesized the Polyurethane (PU) from castor oil modified to a nanocomposite and characterized its properties on a lab scale.

Achievement:  Prepared a project report contained the detail summary of my work.  
I concluded that the properties of PUN showed the better results as compared to PU.

Seminars:
Modification of bitumen by crumb rubber and plastic wastes
Successfully delivered a seminar over the use of plastic wastes and crumb rubber for the   modification of bitumen for an eco-friendly purpose.
Bio-hybrid Nanogels: Successfully delivered a seminar over the preparation, purpose, and applications of bio-hybrid nanogels.
