Skill Sets

Also work on project of Plastics Masterbatch for plastics film & fiber application.
)Handle an equipment of Filter Pressure Value Tester which is used for finding out max.presure value require for extruding the material.
Spectrophotometer for Plastics Colour Matching.
E D X R F (SHIMAZDU) means Energy Diffraction X Ray Fluorescence which is used for finding out the heavy metal present in the plastics coloured masterbatch.

Work Experience

Work since 15th June 2009 till date in Plastics Colour Masterbatch Manufacturing Company and completed M E project.

Projects:
Made a project on “Study on Degradation of Plastics Film (under U V Radiation & Microorganism)” during the second year of M.E. in Plastics Engineering.
Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers (HALS) are often used as the technology of choice to create polyolefin film products that can endure prolonged contact with the damaging effects of sunlight such as UV radiation. A comparative study is done in this project so as to find out percentage of UV additives required for better results. The trials taken to understand the different concentration of the additives and its result. The experimental work is started by making masterbatch of UV 783 in LLDPE, which is nothing but mixture of UV 622 & UV 944 in 1:1 ratio.
Antimicrobial packaging can be considered an emerging technology that could have a significant impact on shelf life extension and food safety. Use of antimicrobial agents in food packaging can control the microbial population and target specific microorganisms to provide higher safety and quality products. In this experimental work initially 10% AM additive loaded masterbatch is prepared with LLDPE.The effect of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) which minimizing the loss of active AM agent during the manufacturing of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film is explored by measuring the release of AM agent into food stimulants. Therefore 10% AM additive and 10% EVA N 8038 based masterbatch is prepared with LLDPE.Now after preparing two masterbatch sample the plastics film is produce & its activity is check by JIS Z 2801:2000 testing method.

Made a project cum training report on “Mould Design & Mould Filling Analysis” (From 15th Jan 2008 to 02nd June 2008) in Devu Tools Pvt.Ltd, Mumbai during final year of B.Tech. in Plastics& Polymer Engineering.
A mould which is an assembly of parts containing within it an impression in which plastics material is injected & cooled. Now for better formation of product into the mould flow of the material via proper channel is necessary. Under this condition Mould flow Plastics Advisor is used. These gives all the information regarding plastics flow behavior in the mould, the temperature & pressure of the mould & how much cooling is necessary for the mould.

Made a project cum training report on “Injection Mould Manufacturing” (From 1st Jan 2003 to 30th Nov.2003) in Mutul Meca Plast Pvt.Ltd, Mumbai during third year of Diploma in Plastics Engineering.
A mould is a tool to shape a product & it constructed in a such way that it can be used frequently. For this purpose, the mould is divided into several parts. It is well known that without proper mould material tooling cannot be achieved. A wide range of mould material & mould making processes are available for plastics. Mould making & its material selection will have to be carried out based on the requirements from Product/Mould Designer.

Made a project cum training report on “Injection Moulding & Trouble Shooting” (From 1st Dec 2004 to 31st May 2005) in Precious Plasto Packaging Pvt.Ltd, Mumbai during final year of Diploma in Plastics Engineering.
Injection Moulding is one of the oldest & widely used processing techniques & has now become one of the most important processes in the plastics industries & has to play dominant role in the development industries. The process is very simple but due to lack of knowledge, the variation in the process is observed. Proper understanding of process & proper trouble shooting give the best product & as well as best profit.

Future Goals

To utilize my existing competencies to develop new skills through continuous learning process so as to adapt myself to the ever changing skill in Plastics Industries in development field.
