INDUSTRIAL VISITS:
J.S.W. Steel Ltd at Boisar, Thane, in Final year, 2011.
Leading steel manufacturers in India. The distinguishing feature of the plant was that it had its own Power Generation Plant and it also reused the waste steel parts to make the steel sheets. The steel sheets manufactured by the Company are exported on a large scale. The visit to this plant gave as an insight of the functioning of one of the biggest steel plants in India and also gave us a touch about the corporate world.
“PAL Industry” at Palghar, Thane in Final year, 2011. This is one of the well known and a very old cloth and embroidery industry exporting approximately 30,000 units per day. The plant is well equipped to convert a raw material to a textured designed fabric ready to use. The visit to this plant groomed our knowledge in ‘Advanced Industrial Electronics’.
Sure Resistors at Vasai, Mumbai during the Third year, 2010. The visit to this industry gave us a very practical knowledge about the manufacturing of all types of resistors. Resistors being used as a basic component in every electronic circuits and understanding its process right at the beginning of our course helped us a lot. This visit also helped us to get a practical approach towards our curricular subject ‘Electronic Material and Components’.
BSNL Exchange at A’Nagar during Second Year. The visit to this industry gave us a very practical knowledge about the working of exchange. Many important concepts relating to communication such as call routing, packet switched, circuit switched connection and modern exchange features were highlighted which were helpful in understanding the proper operation of exchange.
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:
“Land Rover Guided Vehicle (Defence Surveillance Robot)” – Final Year Project (Year : 2011)
The project was a part of the curriculum in final year of engineering. The project was a remote control vehicle which can be controlled using infrared sensors. The project was built around a AT89c2051 and could avoid obstacle on its path without manual interpretation. Also incorporated was a mine detector and a dazer circuitry; thus enhancing self defence mechanism of robotic vehicle.
Ultrasonic Proximity Detector – Third Year Project(Year : 2010)
The project was deviced by using ultrasonic transducer of 40kHz frequency. The operation was based on simple principle of reflection; when any object comes in the range of the device the reflected pulse is sensed by the transducer and thereby indicating and audio alarm.
“Vibration Sensor“– Second year Mini Project(Year : 2009).
This project involved developing a circuitry, which can sense the occurrence of any kind of vibration and respond to it by turning the buzzer on. The main component used to the sense the vibration was ’piezo electric crystal’. The project was done as a part course in the Second Year of engineering in the year 2009.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Completed workshop on ‘Computer Hardware and Networking’.
Completed workshop on ‘Embedded C’.
Completed a workshop on ‘Multilayer PCB Development’.
Participated at the ‘National Level Event’ for ‘Trusso – Model making competition’
To bring profit and prosperity to the organization i work by sincere and dedicated efforts and achieve high end goals for development of individual and organization
