Work Experience

ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
A mini project on the preparation of polymeric membrane for fuel cell application using polysulfone and nano titanium dioxide.
The membranes were characterized using FTIR, SEM, DSC, TGA and their properties were studied. The project was carried under LARPM, Bhubaneswar in 6th semester.
Study of the effect of addition of starch and green plasticisers in the compounding of PVC flooring used in the trains on its mechanical and thermal properties and also to observe its biodegradability.
This is the ongoing research in 7th semester.

PRACTICAL TRAINING:
Undergone one day industrial visit to NEELPLASTORG to study the extruder machine and its various parts. The various post processing operations and pipe testing methods were also studied.
One month Entrepreneurship at HALDIA PETROCHEMICALS LTD, Haldia, WB for the study of the polymerization process of LDPE, HDPE, LLDPE and the relevant testing.
Industrial Training at HINDUSTAN AERONAUTICS LTD ENGINE DIVISION Koraput, Odisha in the rubber and plastics shop to study the use of polymeric material in high scale application.
Short term training programme in CAD USING AUTOCAD 2009 at CIPET, Bhubaneswar in 5th semester.
