Mixed particle beds have a wide application in industry and play a significant role in nature. A better understanding of the relationship
between porosity, permeability and particle composition may improve mass transfer processes in granular beds. Our idea is to find the effect of media packing on the filter performance .These results would help us in reaching to the ultimate conclusion about the most efficient media packing that can be used for separation of substances.
