Academic project
High melt strength Polypropylene via reactive extrusion.
The M. Tech project as a part of thesis dissertation (1-year duration) is going at Reliance Industries Limited project includes Development, Characterization and Application of prepared High Melt Strength Polypropylene (HMSPP) via reactive extrusion process using different modifiers. HMSPP is a modified form of PP which shows better processing and strain hardening over conventional PP and can use for various process like Thermoforming, Blow-Moulding, Foam Expansion, Extrusion Coating, Film Blowing etc. 
Virtual air conditioning system by using desert cooler.
The project (1-year duration) involves Design and Development of a room cooling system which uses chilled water from the desert cooler of another room. The design of the system involves eco-friendly way through which sensible cooling was done with less consumption of electricity. This project also involves the use of recyclable mechanical components for cost-saving.
Manufacturing process and Non-destructive testing of Rear shaft axle of Tractor.  
The project (6-week duration) was carried out at Escorts Agri Machinery group as a part of Industrial Training. This project involves the manufacturing of rear shaft axle via different CNC machine tools and Non-destructive testing via Magna-Flux for checking cracks and blow-holes in the prepared shaft.  

Technical skills
Rubber and Thermoplastic processing equipment such as: Two-roll mixing mill, Lab-scale internal mixers, Banbury, Compression moulding machine, Microcompounder, Twin screw extruder and Injection moulding machine.
Polymer Characterization Techniques such as: Mooney viscometer, ODR, MDR, RPA, Capillary Viscometer, Mechanicals (Tensile strength, Izod impact strength and Flexural modulus), Heat build-up test, Compression set test, Rebound resilience test, Swelling test, Abrasion test, MFI, FTIR, Rheological test (High shear viscosity and Low shear viscosity), Melt strength tester, DMA, DSC, Die-swell, XRD, Gel-content test, PLM, GPC and CCD via CRYSTAF-TREF.
Mechanical jobs preparation on CNC machine tools such as, CNC- Lathe, CNC- Milling, and CNC- Drilling.
Software knowledge: AutoCAD 2012, CATIA V5, ABAQUS.
Knowledge of C, C++ language, MS-office and Internet applications.
Operating Systems:  Windows 7, 8.1, Ubuntu 13

Industrial visits
Industrial visit was done out at Phoenix conveyor belt India pvt ltd. Kolkata, where the understanding developed on production process of various types of conveyor belts and their testing.
Industrial visit was done out at Birla tires, Balasore, where the understanding developed on production process of various types of tyres and their testing.
Industrial visit was done out at Shri Ram pistons and rings ltd. Ghaziabad, where the understanding developed on designing and manufacturing process of pistons used for 125cc single cylinder SI engine
