Ardent researcher on polymer and material science, exquisite fundamental knowledge, render novel ideas, veteran in designing experiments and handling instruments, keen to learn new bailiwicks and resolve conundrums, competent to work independently as well as in a group, productive, acquire excellent writing and presentation skills in English. Basic research areas are synthesis/preparation, characterization and application of polymers and composites by techniques like DSC, TGA, DMA, UTM, SEM, HDT, VSP, MFI, Impact etc. The specific research areas include biodegradable polymers nanocomposites
Projects:
I have played the role of advisor to the BE/ME and new Ph.D. students in the lab. This has allowed me to learn most aspects of all the projects in the lab and has provided me with key experience in leadership and project management.

Synthesis and studies of poly(lactic acid) based biodegradable polymers.
Preparation and studies of polymer nano composites.
Synthesis of low/high molecular weight poly(lactic acid).
In vitro degradation studies of biodegradable polymers.
Synthesis of chain extended polymers.
Synthesis of polymer blends using solution casting.
Studies of epoxy cured systems.
