Commercial Operations:
Preparing MIS reports with a view to apprise top management of the routine trading activities profitability analysis, Completing/claiming central excise, Customs, VAT/sales tax exemptions and Assessment, Statutory compliance/ preparation of export documentation. claiming government benefits under schemes against exports. Material stores planning, material requirements based on the sales forecast or work order. Developing long-term partnerships with local suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms, stock reconciliation, and inventory control, stock analysis (ROL, ABC, VED, and XYZ). Ensuring optimum inventory levels, minimum and maximum, reorder level for achieving cost savings without hampering the production process and preparing reports for the same, scrap handling and disposal, inventory management tools.

Stores Warehouse Management:    
Ensure to mange safe material storage, handling, warehousing & retrieval of material to avoid pilferage and wastage and ensure inventory norms. Monitoring the stock levels of consumables / stocks at Materials Warehouse & ensuring timely procurement and replenishment of stocks. Managing the functions of Receipts, Inspection, Storage, Issues & Related Documentation, finalization of Transportation Contracts, Bill processing etc. Maintaining the warehouses and arranging infrastructure to ensure smooth flow of operations.

Procurement & Vendor Management:    
Identifying & developing a reliable vendor base for timely procurement /availability of raw material, packaging, fuel, coal, stores, spares, capital goods, consumables goods and services for repairing for smooth operations of the Factory without any interruptions. Ensure procurement of materials at most competitive/ negotiated rates considering quality, performance and delivery parameters, cost control, , cost- benefit. Releasing supply schedules to vendors to ensure on time deliveries. Monitor & review process for reduction in procurement lead time for speedy delivery, tendering. Follow up with vendors for timely supply of goods, obtaining feedback on equipment performance from User Depts. & following with vendors for replacements within guarantee periods. Review the performance of the suppliers and make corrective action plan to upgrade the suppliers through development of quality management systems,
