Achievements:
Production Head:-
I have more than 26 years of experience in this function in various companies. The key responsibilities include keeping production targets, maintaining productivity norms, maintaining industrial relations, maintaining GMP, ensuring adherence to the quality standards, ensuring ISO implementation and SHE policy implementation.
The major achievement is building a committed team of Workers and staff towards plant’s objectives. I can proudly say that whatever plants I have handled I was able to build such team.
Achieved drastic improvements in output of PP Hollow Corrugated Board (HCB) production. Increased output from 30 TPM to 90 TPM. This was possible by optimizing processing parameters and motivating the team.
Improved output of ABS Extruder by way of improving Dehumidifier efficiency and eliminating wrong practices. Throughput was doubled.
Achieved overall improvements in Expanded Polyethylene Lamination plant. Bottlenecks in the plant was identified and modification scheme was finalized that resulted in improving the capability of the plant, increased throughput and achieved better quality product. The suggested modification has also avoided safety hazards.
Introduced the concept of Autonomous Maintenance in Flexo Printing Plant that has resulted in reduced downtime and thus improved machine availability. We could achieve 20% improvement in machine availability.
Modified Flexo printing machine to incorporate Gravure printing also. The utility of the machine improved drastically as both Flexo and Gravure printing jobs could be done on the machine. This has also resulted in reduced idle time on the machine.
Streamlined scrap reuse pattern in Extruder plant. This has helped in liquidating old scrap and enabled the plant to use current scrap on-line. Productivity of plant was improved substantially.
Optimized manpower strength of Extruder plant by remodeling the production – packing arrangement. Savings achieved was to the tune of 8%.
Achieved substantial improvement in consistency of quality in Calender plant. This has resulted in reduced customer complaints and less scrap generation.
Achieved all time record favorable net scrap for the calender plant. This has substantially improved the profitability of the plant. The entire scheme of scrap segregation, collection, reworking and reuse was designed and implemented.
Introduced concept of daily material balance across the plant. This has given good control over material use and scrap generation.
Improved GMP of the calender plant to raise the standards close to European standards. This has resulted in getting European business for the company with Indian cost base.
Actively participated and achieved many developments for products on Extruders and calendars. This has resulted in establishing new products for the company.
Contributed in improving customer satisfaction level by implementing systems to improve reliability of deliveries and meeting the committed delivery dates.
Industrial Relations:-
I have worked with direct responsibility as Head of Personnel department for about one year in this company.
Critically reviewed the functioning of Security Department and revamped the arrangement.
Negotiated one Bonus settlement with workers Union.

Implemented PVDC coating project in scheduled budget and time.
Implemented Expansion project of PVDC coating line.
