Job Profile:
Responsible in initiating the company’s Plastic Products Division at Nagpur/ India for manufacturing of various Irrigation equipment. Instrumental in overall project implementation right from site selection through vendor appointments. Being a member of the technical committee I attended all appraisal meetings with ICICI, the initial term lending institute for the project. The factory is an ultra modern plastics processing unit manufacturing sprinkler and drip irrigation pipes, fittings/ system etc.
Elevated to Deputy General Manager-Works in 1996 and further to General Manager-Works in 1999. In all twenty five senior managers/ departmental heads report to me and all regional/ area sales managers co-ordinate with me. I report to the Managing Director/ Director Technical/ Chairman & our JV Director. I was totally instrumental and core team leader to bring the organization to its present level from its initiation, technical/ commercial evaluation, selection of all production plants (imported and domestic), auxiliary & supporting equipment, negotiation and finalization, setting up all plants/ machineries, production and quality standards and then further expansions in two stages.
