Job Description

Oversee injection moulding process control using scientific moulding principles.
Operate automatic and semi-automatic injection moulding machines to ensure product specifications are met.
Achieve established daily production target.
Drive moulding process improvements to include cycle time efficiencies, cavitation, scrap reduction, etc.
Verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Implement mould and process setup methods as per decoupled moulding principles to ensure stable, zero-defect production.
Identify operator training needs through regular observation / conversation, and provide necessary guidance / mentoring.

Candidate must be willing to work on shop floor and to work in shifts.

Required Qualifications and skills
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical / Polymer Science is preferred) OR technical diploma in plastics processing technology.
