Reviewing Tool Design with design team & tool makers.
Taking BOM, understanding steel quality (depending upon application requirement, different requirement for different inserts. Like OS, FC50, Stavex ESR, Alumec/Hokotol, Brass, Copper, D-2, EN series, P-20, etc.,) and required hardness/HT procedure.
Scheduling all machining activities and preparing a Gantt chart for the same.
Coordinating with design team/Cam program and ensuring/confirming CAM program is appropriate
Ensuring every manufacturing/related activity is as per schedule.
Ensuring all parts/inserts/manufacturing activity is passing through QC (steel inspection)
Coordinating closely with Tool maker team (one tool maker is appointed for one project)
And once everything / manufacturing is complete, start handing over to tool maker (as per BOM)
The above is to reach a tool up to T ‘0’
Post T ‘0’, any ECN support for debugging, should be planned and book a suitable slot (without disturbing running projects manufacturing)
He should be reporting to ….
In future he may require to travel for customer visit
Must have good knowledge / skills for moulding. Understanding process parameter and able to suggest for modification in process to get better result during Tool trials.

Language: English, HINDI (must), Tamil (and if Kannada also)
