Job Description

Job Description for R&D Manager / Colour Matcher
We are looking for R&D In charge who has complete knowledge of development of Colours & Additive Masterbatches.

We are specifically looking for candidate who have experience in colour matching/ formulating colours, formulations for Polyolefins / Polypropylene/Engineering Polymers. Also, the candidate must have knowledge of the various other raw materials like pigments, dyes, additives, extenders, etc.

Key role Objectives & Requirements:

Responsible for all colour development work as per plan and priority
Responsible for quality approval/rejection
To follow the approved QA Work Instructions
To control of online product quality in the main lines
To carry out the in-house calibration
To maintain the record of all testing as per defined system
Prepare work instructions for QA and production process
Carry out visual inspections onsite and carry Audit for raw material, in-process material and finished material
To resolve the complaints and corrective actions implemented accordingly
Preparation of Data from Quality Assurance on weekly basis
Preparation of Quality Analysis reports from Quality Assurance for all material
The candidate must be a team player with excellent communication skills to the relevant functions.
The candidate must have knowledge on operation of following Lab Testing machines: Two-roll mill machine, Filter Press, MFI Tester, Hot
Air Oven, CBC Tester, Blown Film Machine, Injection Moulding Machine, Muffle Furnace, Colour Matching Cabinet, Spectrophotometer,
Lab Twin Screw Extruder.
Experience from Masterbatch company shall be given preference.
Knowledge of Computer / Good communication proficiency in English language will be preferred.
Knowledge of ISO / ASTM Standards will be an advantage and Preferred.
