Job Profile:
Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
Collect and compile statistical quality data

Optimization of Cutting Parameters using Taguchi Method
Metal cutting is one of the important and widely used manufacturing processes in engineering industries. The metal cutting studies focus on the features of tools, work material composition and mechanical properties.
There are many machining parameters that have influence on process efficiency and output quality. But Cutting speed, Feed rate and Depth of cut are of prime importance. Selecting proper values for machining parameters such as cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut directly affects the machining economics in metal-cutting processes.
So Taguchi method was used to optimized the machining parameters. Taguchi method is an experimental method used for optimization. The optimized value of Cutting speed, Feed rate and Depth of cut were calculated for the purpose of surface finish and material removal rate.
