Design Engineer

Presently working with a leading company manufacturing jigs and fixtures for auto component manufacturers
CAD Package used: Pro-e wildfire 2.0
It's major customers are TVS, Amalgamation valeo, GE power controls.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design of Jigs, Fixtures and Gauge for automobile components by using the Pro Engineering.
Modeling, assembly and detailing of drawings for jigs and fixtures.
Reverse Engineering Design for Jigs, fixtures, gauges and press tools of components like plate clutch drive, plate movable drive, housing clutch, inlet fuel tank and different variants of drive plate etc., to maintain the ISO Procedures &Records.
Worked towards quality R&D Design to solve the quality issues.
Worked with ISO certification team and during the ISO certification.
Modified existing design in special automatic machine. This has improved the production rate in double the quantity by reducing the ideal time.

Modeling of various type of components fully parametrical with constrained sketches.
Conversion of AutoCAD drawings to 3d model using Pro-E.
Assembling the model by the bottom up assembly method.
Generating engineering production drawing and assembly layout drawing to match customer requirements.
Reverse engineering.
