Job Profile:
Hypermeshv7- Geometry Cleanup, Midsurface Extraction, 2D shell and surface Meshing, Quality checking, 3D solid meshing (Generation of tetra mesh and hexahedral mesh).
Catiav5- Part -Modeling, Generative Shape Design, Sheet Metal Design, Assembly Design, Drafting.
ACADEMIC PROJECT DETAILS:
Title: Manufacture of Heat Pipe Test-Rig and Characterization of Heat Pipe Performance.
Project Scope: Steady operation of a heat pipe.
Project Objective: Characterization of heat pipe performance.
Description: Manufacture of heat pipe test-rig and evaluating the performance of heat pipe in different orientations for better heat transfer over moderate distances with very small temperature drops and comparing the thermal conductance of heat pipe with copper pipe and copper rod.
The heat pipe application ranges from the cooling of individual semiconductor devices to the heat removal from entire system. Heat pipes have many applications in areas where reliable performance and low cost are of prime importance-for example, in electronics and heat exchangers.
Tools used: AutoCAD, Catia v5.
