Description:
Coolant channel replacement
The key advantage of this project is to increase power production and to fulfill the peoples needs. Here the power produced is of 235MW. Since its a new plant calendria vessel has to be measured. Process carried out are platform erection, calendria tube trimming followed by calendria tube installation and rolling.
Contribution:
Involved in measurement of calendria vessel.
Involved in pre-assembly area were liner tube is rolled with end fitting.
Rectified carriage marks, nail feel able scratches, etc.
To identify the areas where further information is required on pre assembly.
Involved in pressure tube trimming area.

Description:
Enmass coolant channel replacement
The main objective of this project is to increase power production. It is actually a replacement of an existing project. It is the first project in India, in which replacement had carried out were bellow had been installed. Here the power produced is of 235MW. Operations performed are platform erection, zigzag panel removal, feeder cutting, gray loc removal, bellow lip cutting, end fitting & pressure tube cutting and removal.
Later carried out by degreasing of end fitting and reactor component, shrink fitting of bellow attachment cast steel ring, pre-assembly of reactor component, pressure tube trimming, one end rolling, south vault installation, north vault installation and rolling, bellow welding, feeder welding, shield plug & seal plug installation at one end, fuel loading, shield plug & seal plug installation at other end, gray loc clamping and commissioning the plant.
Contribution:
Involved in pre-assembly area were liner tube is rolled with end fitting.
Involved in this project as an Execution Engineer.
Co-ordinating the activities among the group members.
Identified and rectified problems like scratches, dent mark, pitting, etc.
Involved in creation of documentation in this project.
Leaded the team, organizing in vault activities.
