This project involves Modeling of Gear Box Housing. 2D Scanned drawing is given as input. The model is created in UG modeling module by using standard primitive features and sketches are used if the profiles are too complex in nature. Detailing is done as per the international manufacturing standards

2)Title : Modeling of Common Rail Body and Development of Forged Body
Tools Used : Unigraphics V 18
Team size : two
Duration : 3 month
This project involves modeling of the Common Rail Body – Machined. Forged body model developed from the Machined body model. Machining allowances taken into consideration while creating the forged Body. Forged Body and Machined Common Rail Body 2D Drawings is created.

3) Title : Blower Motor Assembly (Reverse Engineering – Modeling, Assembly
& Drafting)
Tools Used : Unigraphics V 18
Team size : two
Duration : 3 months
This project involves modeling of Blower Motor using Unigraphics. It mainly involves Reverse Engineering process, of Blower Motor model given. This model is then used to suit the product specifications.

4)Title : Cooker Handle (Reverse Engineering – Modeling &
Drafting).

This project involves modeling of Cooker Handle using Unigraphics. It mainly involves Reverse Engineering of Cooker Handle given. This model is then used to suit the product specifications.


PROJECT IN POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PLASTIC ENGINEERING
PROJECT TITLE :
Technology development of marble tiles using marble dust bound with resin

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project involves the technological development of tiles made out of waste marble dust bound with resin matrix with an innovation to replace the commercial ceramic tiles and henceforth compare the various mechanical and chemical properties.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT:
The technology has been developed in accordance with manufacturing tiles from waste marble dust bound with resin matrix. The tiles show improved strength in comparison to that available in market.
The idea is to convert a waste material(marble dust) into a usable product using Thermosetting resin matrix thus simultaneously enhancing the end service requirement of the newer product. The unique interaction with the marble and the matrix has been studied and thus the technology obtained.
