1) To design the working model of hydroelectric power plant using Pelton Turbine.
Synopsis : In hydroelectric power plant the energy of water is utilized to drive the turbine, which in tum runs the generator to produce electricity. Rain falling upon the earth surface has potential energy relative to the ocean towards which it flkows. This energy is used to convert the Shaft work where the water falls through an appreciable vertical distance.

2) To design a working model of Gravity type drop forging Hammer.
Synopsis : With the application of impact pressure in hot mechanical working of metal, the metal is subjected to such forces which cause it to undergo plastic deformation when it is above its lower critical temperature.
